Dental Technology We Use
Computed-Guided Dental Implant Surgery
Dr. Djruric was one of the first dentists to utilize computer-guided surgical templates for dental implant surgery. He has been utilizing this technique for over 10 years, when his work was first documented and published in Spectrum Dialogue. The benefits of computer-guided dental implant surgery included increased reliability, shorter surgeries, and faster recover.
3D Imaging CT Scan
Before you begin with your implant treatment, Dr. Djuric will take a 3D CT Scan which gives a detailed analysis of bone density. This technology uses information from the CT Scan to create a 3D computer model of the bone. Implants then can be placed first virtually in the computer model and then the advanced generates the surgical guide. Using this guide, Dr. Djuric is able to control precisely the implant placement so the need for a surgical flap can be almost eliminated.
On-Site Lab
Here at Perdido Bay Dental, our on-site lab enables us to work closely with our technician as a team in delivering beautiful dentures, and faster, more convenient and less hassle care.
Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays produce sharp, clear images right on to a computer screen, and require just a fraction of the radiation of traditional film x-rays. Patients can view their images on screen and doctors can use them to help patients understand their treatment options.
Intra-Oral Camera
With our intra-oral camera, you’ll get a detailed, live view of the condition of your teeth. This new technology helps Dr. Djuric do an even better job of checking your teeth? It can magnify the inside of the mouth more than 40 times. Not only can we educate you about your own mouth using this, but it actually helps Dr. Djuric catch any problems quicker.
